摘要: Summary The present study investigated the effect that living in a very race conscious society, South Africa, has on eye-witness testimony when “crime” is committed by members of different groups. Two simulated assaults were carried out. They almost identical except for fact one white assaulted white, while other black white. In each case 15 male and female undergraduate eyewitnesses requested to write report describing both persons involved sequence events. Reliability scores calculated S. Analysis results showed no differences reliability between groups reports taken as whole, description events, or participants involved. These seemed indicate racial bias did not influence eye-witnesses.
