摘要: Significant advances into the post-depositional (or diagenetic) chemistry of radionuclides have been made by developing a method to study pore water /sup 239/ 240/Pu, 137/Cs, 55/Fe, and several natural (U, Th, Ra, 210/Po, 210/Pb). Field (box coring) laboratory studies demonstrate that 240/Pu has an insignificant diagenetic mobility in nearshore sediments. contrast, appears be significantly mobile undergoes rapid ion-exchange reactions, while U active redox-complexation sediment chemistry. A major emphasis on Windscale nuclear fuel reprocessing radionuclide Irish Sea, Minch, North Norwegian Greenland Seas. This work demonstrated dramatic penetration these (especially 137/Cs) through Sea upper 1000 m Measurements 134/Cs, 90/Sr from samples collected Arctic Atlantic Oceans during Transient Tracers Oceanography (TTO) cruise 1981 provide valuable unique set data tracer Ocean.
