摘要: Monitoring of threatened species and ecosystems is critical for determining population trends, identifying urgency management responses, assessing the efficacy interventions. Yet many are not monitored those that are, quality monitoring often poor. Here we provide a checklist factors need to be considered inclusion in robust programs ecosystems. These can grouped under four broad themes - design programs, structure governance data reporting, appropriate funding legislative support. We briefly discuss key attributes our these themes.
