摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs) are a subset of gastrointestinal (GI) mesenchymal varying differentiation and represent 1–3% all malignancies–70% occur in the stomach. Previously, these were classified as GI leiomyomas, leiomyosarcomas, leiomyoblastomas or schwannomas on basis histological findings fact that apparently originate muscularis propria layer intestinal wall. With advent immunohistochemical staining techniques ultrastructural evaluation, GISTs now recognised distinct group tumours. Most cases sporadic although some families with hereditary have been described. We report coinicidental finding GIST an asymptomatic patient subsequent management.
