摘要: Abstract The Cordoba Platform in eastern Mexico has been studied to reveal the deformation and fluid flow history of Laramideforeland fold thrust belt (FFTB) define controlling parameters on hydrocarbon reservoir development. Cathodoluminescence (CL) stable isotope analyses calcite-cemented strata fractures point out different episodes that have coupled agenda. This study reveals an early burial phase with host-rock-buffered fluids overpressures resulting hydraulic relate foreland flexuring additionally local karst Layer-parallel shortening is accompanied by expulsion formation waters are no longer host-rock-buffered. Subsequent folding thrusting led opening vertical features finally influx meteoric telogenetic development outcropping part FFTB. In tectonic front, emplacement was associated intensive fracturing subsequent oil migration.
