摘要: The early phases of Diaporthe helianthi pathogenesis on sunflower are characterized by the production phytotoxins that may play a role in host colonisation. In previous studies, polyketidic nature were isolated and purified from culture filtrates virulent strains D. sunflower. A highly aggressive isolate (7/96) France contained gene fragment putative nonaketide synthase (lovB) which was conserved population. order to investigate polyketide synthases 7/96, draft genome this examined. We able find phylogenetically analyse 40 genes putatively coding for (PKSs). Analysis their domains revealed most PKS reducing PKSs, whereas only eight lacked domains. Most identified PKSs have orthologs shown be virulence factors or genetic determinants toxin other pathogenic fungi. One (DhPKS1) corresponded previously cloned lovB clustered with nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) -PKS hybrid/lovastatin like A. nidulans LovB. used DhPKS1 as case study carried out its disruption through Agrobacterium-mediated transformation 7/96. deleted mutants less compared wild type, indicating fungus. sequences analysed reported here constitute new genomic resource will useful further research biology, ecology evolution generally fungal plant pathogens.
