摘要: Glucose is the substrate most widely used as exogenous carbon source for heterotrophic cultivation of cyanobacteria. Due to limited information about use different carbohydrates sources support cyanobacterial metabolism, objective this work was evaluate monosaccharides (arabinose, fructose, galactose, glucose, mannose and xylose), disaccharides (lactose, maltose, sucrose trehalose) polysaccharides (carboxymethylcellulose, cassava starch, Hi-maize®, maltodextrin Corn Globe 1805® xylan) culture cyanobacterium Phormidium sp. The batch using fructose organic resulted in highest (p < 0.05) cell biomass (5,540 mg/L) parallel with yield coefficient (0.67 mgbiomass/mgfructose). Mannose consumption rate (3,185.7 mg/L/day) carbohydrate major potential produce (1,072.8 mgbiomass/L/day) lipids (160.8 mglipids/L/day). Qualitatively, fatty acid profiles lipid extract from showed predominance saturated chains cultures grown sources, exception ones xylose maltodextrin.
