Characteristics and quality of illness behavior in celiac disease.

摘要: The study evaluated the illness behavior of patients with celiac disease and influence its treatment on key personality components adherence to dietary recommendations. Twenty-nine adult 47 matched healthy comparison subjects participated in study. More than 70% group scored pathological range at least one scale Illness Behavior Questionnaire. Patients who received diagnosis adulthood had a lower score for nonconformism, greater tendency pretend be sociable, higher levels psychophysiological reactiveness, relative subjects. results suggest that may associated changes interfere patients' adaptation living chronic disease.
