Smoke-free-school-hours at vocational education and training schools in Denmark: attitudes among managers and teaching staff - a national cross-sectional study.

摘要: Tobacco is the main cause of non-communicable disease and premature death globally. Implementing restrictive school tobacco policies such as smoke-free-school-hours (SFSH) may have potential to reduce smoking among Vocational Education Training (VET) students. To be effective, that largely involve strict consistent enforcement by both managers teaching staff must implemented. This study investigated attitudes towards implementation SFSH at Danish VET schools. The analyses were based on cross-sectional survey data collected with an online was from March June 2017. Managers (n = 571) 71 out 87 schools (81.6%) took part in survey. In adjusted analysis, twice likely a favourable attitude SFSH. Furthermore, being female increasing age correlated having attitude.
