摘要: The tourism industry in Malaysia is being transformed from low yield to high income. With the launch of Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), set achieve income nation status by end decade. Rural and ecotourism growing at a phenomenal rate expected be major contributor nation's receipt. Nonetheless, last decade, concept rural has melded with mainstream lose its distinctness. Consequently, industry's growth through-out years created an increasing amount stress economically, socially environmentally. For sustainable development sector, benefits must equitably distributed among private interests, public tourists local population. Criteria indicators sustainability that reflect costs precise yet simple enough understood easily implemented field staff. objective this study develop criteria for Taman Negara. uses Delphi technique identify priority indicators, which used determine Negara National Park. results produced 15 58 are comparable lists adopted international, regional national programs indicators. encompass components economic, social environmental values associated responsible development. These will then barometer act as integrated management system. This fundamental plays important role innovating new approaches developing holistically measure multi-dimensional relationships between different models linkages economies environment key natural destinations Malaysia.
