摘要: Objective We evaluated vitamin D insufficiency in a nationally representative sample of women and assessed the role supplementation. Study Design conducted secondary analysis 928 pregnant 5173 nonpregnant aged 13-44 years from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey 2001-2006. Results The mean 25-hydroxyvitamin (25[OH]D) level was 65 nmol/L for 59 women. prevalence 25(OH)D Conclusion Adolescent adult childbearing age have high insufficiency. Current prenatal multivitamins (400 IU D) helped to raise serum levels, but higher doses longer duration may be required.
