摘要: Abstract We report temperature dependent photoluminescence (PL) and solvatochromic studies of 4-methoxybenzylammonium chloride (4-MBACl). The single crystals 4-MBACl has been grown using slow solvent evaporation method under ambient conditions have confirmed X-ray diffraction (XRD) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopic studies. Thermal stability the material analyzed by thermogravimetric (TG) differential thermal analyzes (DTA). crystal is photoluminescent with emission wavelength maximum at 300 nm. Exciton-phonon coupling in realized from PL Changes full width half (FWHM) peak, intensity (Imax) (λmax) systematically between temperatures 290–10 K order to understand photophysical phenomenon behind emission. Optical band gap (Eg) varied polarity, proticity solution concentration. Interactions like OH---O, OH---π π-π stacking are explained reason notable shifts.
