摘要: The work presents results of the studies performed on electropolishing pure niobium in a bath that contained: sulphuric acid, hydrofluoric ethylene glycol and acetanilide. After electropolishing, specimens were subjected to anodic passivation 1moldm(-3) phosphoric acid solution at various voltages. surface morphology, thickness, roughness chemical composition resulting oxide layers analysed. Thusly prepared samples additionally investigated terms their corrosion resistance Ringer's solution. electropolished was determined be smooth lustrous. anodisation led growth barrier-like layers, which enriched phosphorus species.
