摘要: This chapter attempts to achieve two objectives: the first consists of mapping out current Research and Development (RD second is advocate case for urgent need further immediate investment in R&D this sector. These objectives are framed within a wider discussion growing vulnerability Gulf region terms food agriculture. Identifying aspects along with adverse side effects adopting outsourcing security policies would expose urgency area, points at issues agendas that should be granted priority. The multiplicity pressures faced by GCC field meeting local demands provision generate high level uncertainty left without close scientific research problem-solving, both represent prerequisite making right decisions draft effective strategies.
