Pressure broadening of millimeter-wave ozone lines by atmospheric gases

摘要: Abstract Pressure-broadened linewidths of the 4 13 -4 04 , 6 15 -6 06 14 3 11 -15 2 and 28 5 23 -29 26 rotational transitions ozone have been measured for foreign gases N O over a pressure range 200–1000 m Torr. The temperature dependence broadening has 195–320 K. air-broadened linewidth transition was at 294 K is readily calculated other temperatures from results. results are compared with recent theoretical calculations, also previous measurements, where these available. measurements direct application to interpretation observations microwave emission middle atmosphere ozone. serve as reference points calculations applicable infrared spectral regions.
