摘要: Of 195 independent countries in the world, 83 have transplant programs. Some (areas) emphasized living donation; others, decreased donation. As a consequence, rates of donation vary widely between geographic areas and often within same area. The major ethical issue is risk to donor. Internationally, numerous guidelines been developed outlining acceptable donor evaluation criteria for approval.
