摘要: The Spanish Language Proficiency of Sequential Bilingual Children and the Spanish-English Scale Jessica Maribel Tavizon Department Communication Disorders, BYU Master Science challenge facing children learning language bilingually has led to efforts improve assessment treatment difficulties. One these is development validation (SELPS). Previous research been performed validate scale for English proficiency but not proficiency. Twenty-four sequential bilingual produced spontaneous narrative samples that were rated using SELPS coded sample variables Systemic Analysis Transcripts software. Several variables, most notably Subordination Index, number omitted bound morphemes, code-switched words, correlated with subscale scores total score. Findings have implications screening who are between four eight years age.
