摘要: Significant developments have occurred in the field of professional development (PD) Australia's vocational education and training (VET) sector past 10 years. During early 1990s, work-based learning (WBL) became preferred model for PD VET sector. Research sponsored by National Staff Development Committee Australian Training Authority 1993 identified action as an appropriate methodology structuring national programs. Later research focused on issues such linking programs to policy goals, adopting learner-centered approaches, transforming evaluations from efforts designed satisfy funding requirements foundations program improvement. Advocates basing WBL based their arguments findings adult education, lifelong learning, organizations. A review provides beginnings a more detailed descriptive framework evaluating researching PD. The draws together theoretical perspectives andragogy, organizations, theories critical social science that inform methodologies research.
