摘要: Abstract The importance of fundamental chemical bonding considerations, based on an examination the bonds expected to be present, in determination structures and properties a wide variety glasses, is discussed. average number near neighbors each type surround given central atom alloy glass, can often estimated by using simple considerations ordering, coordination numbers bond energies. patterns thus obtained provide insight into local order present these as well enabling explanation prediction various physical, electrical properties. Several examples are illustrate ideas.
