摘要: This paper is concerned with the representation and exploration of flows, defined as spatial interactions between geographic locations. Flows are challenging to display in a comprehensible manner due nature data, which characterized by many crossings overlaps leading clutter. A number different strategies have been suggested for addressing this problem, commonly involve reducing search space, aggregating data or simplifying representations often at cost information loss distortion context. We propose an interactive approach exploring large highly connected networks flows without distorting geographical space losing context overview process.
