摘要: Abstract 1. The presence of hemoglobin-binding proteins, or haptoglobins, was noted in four species North American Catostomid fishes: Catostomus insignis, C. latipinnis, Pantosteus clarki and P. plebeius . 2. These haptoglobins exhibit variation electrophoretic pattern which found to be a function the concentration free hemoglobin serum prior electrophoresis. 3. Variation is attributd existence more than one site on haptoglobin molecule.
