摘要: The ability of Vaccinium myrtillus L. to recover from simulated winter herbivory has been investigated on different plants which had exposed three elevated temperatures (5 °C, 10 °C or 20 °C) for four weeks in a greenhouse environment. After herbivory, number and length new aerial shoots leaves/shoot increased faster kept at 5 than those °C. In the following autumn, however, only shoot differed between treatments, being greatest treatments lowest outdoor control. Apparently already used their resources growth before simulation, reduced recovery thereafter. addition, growing season was too short control produce as many treatments. results show that V. is rapid if it occurs started. Hence earlier onset spring consequence climate warming may not be fatal plant, unless temperature increase triggers start months normal.
