摘要: Purpose To develop a retinal imaging system suitable for routine examination or screening of mouse models and to demonstrate the feasibility simultaneously acquiring fundus optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. Methods The is composed photographic slit lamp biomicroscopic fundus, an OCT interferometer, beam delivery designed eye, positioning stage. Image acquisition was controlled with software that displays images in real time, allows user control position spot on image display. anesthetized placed cylindrical holder stage, single operator adjusted mouse. Results Fundus scans were successfully acquired both eyes 8 C57BL/6 mice. Once animal holder, typical experiment takes less than 2 minutes. vasculature, pigmentation, nerve fiber arrangement, optic head clearly visible quality sufficient allow measurement total, inner, outer thicknesses visualize excavation. Conclusions study demonstrates simultaneous retina, by operator, manner evaluation disease.
