摘要: Abstract Optical properties of Tm3+ ions are investigated in the following lithium borate (LBO) glasses: Li2CO3 + H3BO3 and MCO3 (M = Mg, Ca, Sr Ba). The assigned energy level data (4f12) these glasses as well that available for some other systems literature analysed terms a parametrized Hamiltonian model includes 14 free-ion parameters. absorption linestrengths measured Tm3+:LBO glasses. Using data, intensity parameters (Ωλ, λ 2, 4, 6), radiative transition probabilities, lifetimes, fluorescence branching ratios integrated cross-sections fluorescent levels calculated by applying Judd-Ofelt theory. effect glass network formers modifiers on optical Tm3+:glasses discussed.
