摘要: This chapter sheds light on construction accident compensation via an analysis using mathematical modelling. First, we introduce the Nash equilibrium under negligence rule. After that, utilise risk and thermostat theory to investigate risk-taking behaviours sites. Furthermore, attempt reveal a interpretation of compensation. The results this study show that (1) rule forces workers maintain high level due care minimise total social costs (2) behaviour is optimal solution workers, in it unlikely taking zero risks best for them. As many places around globe adopt common law their formal institutions which govern compensation, paper illustrates its practical implications legal industries similar jurisdictions.
