摘要: In this work, porous membranes were designed by selectively etching the PEO phase, water, from a melt-mixed PE/PEO blend. The pure water flux and resistance across membrane systematically evaluated employing an indigenously developed cross flow setup. Both phase morphology sectional of was assessed scanning electron microscopy attempt made to correlate observed with performance. order design antibacterial for purification, partially reduced graphene oxide (rGO), silver nanoparticles (Ag) decorated rGO (rGO-Ag) synthesized incorporated directly into blends during melt mixing. loss viability bacterial cells determined colony counting method using E. coli as model bacterium. SEM images display that direct contact rGO-Ag disrupts cell membrane. addition, exhibited synergistic effect respect in comparison both Ag nanoparticles. possible mechanism associated activity discussed. This study opens new avenues designing purification.
