摘要: Heat resistance appears to cycle in concert with energy metabolism continuous culture of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. To study mechanism this oscillation, authors first examined if heat shock proteins (Hsps) are involved. Neither protein levels major Hsps nor expression β-galactosidase gene as a reporter under control promoter carrying heat-shock element oscillated during metabolic oscillation. The level trehalose cycled same periodicity, did metabolism. This oscillation was not found GTS1-deleted mutant that also show cyclic changes resistance.
