摘要: Previous studies have shown a persisting bone mineral loss of 25% at the distal femoral and proximal tibial metaphysis after fractures tibia. This is likely to increase risk later fracture. In present study, evolution regional osteopenia valgus osteotomy tibia was investigated. 20 patients, content (BMC) on both sides determined by single-energy photon absorptiometry in metaphysis; distal, mid, diaphysis tibia; femur preoperatively 6, 16, 34, 52, 104 weeks postoperatively. A moderate fall BMC found all measured levels extremity. tibia, greatest (10%) seen near osteotomy, but considerable regeneration occurred later. (8%) (11%) diaphysis. At these contralateral side led similar values two 2 years.
