摘要: Abstract Data security has been a major concern for all means of communication lately. As Steganography offers such unique form securing data, in this paper, two novel image steganography algorithms are proposed based on generalized chaotic maps. Only one map is employed the first algorithm and used dimensional memory indexing, while maps second indexing. The pseudorandom numbers cover pixel’s position selection maps' iterative outputs. generalization technique logistic adding extra degrees freedom design different behaviors, thus enhancing levels algorithms. Four sets methods' validation. Several performance metrics as Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM), Normalized Cross Correlation (NCC) Image Fidelity (IF) compare between both methods. high efficiency compared other work literature validated. hardware designs implemented Xilinx Virtex 7 FPGA board, achieving 350 MHz frequency.
