摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect supplementing Moringa oleifera leaf meal (MOLM) at different levels in broiler chicken. Broiler starter and finisher diets were formulated using raw materials obtained from local feed manufacturers. MOLM first analyzed for crude protein then added 0% (T1), 7.5% (T2), (T3) (without Methionine lysine), 15 (T4) 30% (T5). Two hundred (200) day old chicks randomly allocated into 5 treatment groups with 4 replicates 10 birds each introduced. intake, conversion ratio (FCR), weight gain, lipid profile, abdominal fat pad digestibility determined. level 23.33%. gain significantly between various highest being T1 1464 lowest diet T5 500. supplementation above decreased intake dry matter digestibility. (AFP) higher compared T2, T4 T5. males had a high High density lipids (HDL) than females T3 (p<0.05). yellow colour carcass increased MOLM. It wa s concluded that well tolerated can only be included up as affected Further studies on yellowing carcass, its quality acceptability by consumers is needed.
