摘要: Plastids and mitochondria are the only two cell organelles which enclosed by unit membranes possess a limited genetic synthetic autonomy from nucleus/cytosol compartment. This is believed to mirror descent of these prokaryotic ancestors (Gray Doolittle 1982). The partial reflected DNA content organelles, their RNA- protein-synthesizing capacity (Bohnert et al. 1982; Bottomley Bohnert Ellis 1981; Curtis Clegg 1984) and, in case mitochondria, different codon recognition (Barrell 1980). While several mitochondrial genomes either totally (human) (Anderson 1981) or largely (yeast) sequenced, larger chloroplast molecule not studied so extensively. structure genes is, however, already known, details gene organization, content, transcription transcriptional regulation beginning emerge (Whitfeld 1983; Crouse 1984).
