摘要: A Content Addressable Memory (CAM) or Ternary CAM (TCAM) provides error detection and correction (EDAC). EDAC codes are chosen based on logical physical properties of the CAM/TCAM. An entry in CAM/TCAM comprises a plurality groups, each group comprising storage bits. Writes to bits encoded enable EDAC. Lookup data is divided into lookup groups one more bits, applied corresponding entries be searched. In embodiment, first decoded detect and/or correct errors then compared with produce hit indication. another logically combined indication, wherein correctable does not affect correctness
