摘要: The present invention provides irradiated crosslinked polyethylene containing reduced free radicals, preferably substantially no residual radical. Processes of making wear-resistant having radical content, by mechanically deforming the PE either with or without contact sensitizing environment during irradiation and annealing post-irradiated at a temperature that is above melting point PE, are also disclosed herein.
