摘要: Medical patients are screened prior to magnetic resonance imaging by using a superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer detect the unknown presence of an implanted ferromagnetic object. The patient is placed on table which vibrates at approximately five Hertz. sequentially held stationary plurality positions adjacent being vibrated. field intensity measured each position with and measurements used determine location object within patient.
