摘要: We examine in greater detail the recent proposal of using superconductors for detecting dark matter as light warm limit O(keV). Detection such is possible if entire kinetic energy extracted scattering, and experiment sensitive to O(meV) depositions. This case Fermi-degenerate materials which Fermi velocity exceeds dispersion Milky Way ~10^-3. focus on a concrete experimental superconducting target with transition edge sensor order detect small deposits from scatterings. Considering wide variety constraints, self-interactions cosmic microwave background, we show that models consistent cosmological/astrophysical terrestrial constraints are observable detectors. A wider range viable mass below an MeV available or mediator properties (such couplings masses) differ at BBN epoch stellar interiors those superconductors. also metal targets pay strong in-medium suppression kinetically mixed mediators; this alleviated insulating targets.
