摘要: When patients find their pain unacceptable they are likely to attempt avoid it at all costs and seek readily available interventions reduce or eliminate it. These efforts may not be in best interest if the consequences include no reductions many missed opportunities for more satisfying productive functioning. The purpose of this study was examine acceptance pain. One hundred sixty adults with chronic provided responses a questionnaire assessing pain, number other questionnaires adjustment Correlational analyses showed that greater associated reports lower intensity, less pain-related anxiety avoidance, depression, physical psychosocial disability, daily uptime, better work status. A relatively low correlation between intensity is simply function having level Regression predicted on measures patient function, independent perceived intensity. results preliminary.
