摘要: Abstract In cellular manufacturing, machines are organized into compact and independent product-based group technology (GT) cells. Production in smaller GT cells not only reduces travel distances but also facilitates better material production control. Cell compactness cell independence two basic requirements of efficient Most formation procedures consider maximizing as the objective. doing so, these impose an upper limit on size a threshold value for compactness. This paper views terms intercell intracell move costs. The trade-off between costs is explained detail. A nonlinear mathematical model simulated annealing algorithm developed that minimize total calculation costs, quantity, effect move, sequence operations, multiple non-consecutive visits to same machine considered. results compared with published results.
