摘要: Optical surfaces with complex geometry are produced today by grinding, polishing or casting in a prefabricated negative mould. This has the disadvantage that all geometric moulds required for production must be kept on stock. The object of invention is to disclose process allows these optical and moulding shells directly manufactured single step according inddividual data. For purpose, blank machining an surface shell manufacturing held at workpiece carrier spindle axis (Z axis) shaping machine turned into its final form means turning tool which can move relative (in X axis). transversely direction displacement tool. During each rotation spindle, incrementally adjusted towards away from depending characteristic data, may predetermined calculated on-line. particularly suitable plastic lenses producing lenses, example progressive lenses.
