摘要: Abstract A diblock copolymer containing a single-stranded DNA and temperature-responsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm-b-DNA) was synthesized. The PNIPAAm segment obtained with low polydispersity by reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. number-averaged molecular weight the distribution of were determined size exclusion chromatography. PNIPAAm-b-DNA prepared through Michael addition reaction thiol-terminated to 5′-maleimide-modified DNA. lower critical solution temperature (LCST) differential scanning calorimetry. self-assembled above LCST into formation polymer micelle hydrophobic core surrounded hydrophilic corona. Both light scattering transmittance measurements revealed that colloidal stability DNA-carrying micelles enormously decreased when complementary added micelle’s dispersion form fully matched duplex on surface. It also found extremely enhanced 5′-terminal-mismatched single-base mismatch at interface between corona dispersal medium. higher flexibility terminus in presumably increased entropic repulsion micelles.
