摘要: Aim: The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of supplementation balanced concentrate ration during lactation on growth performance, blood and metabolic profiles native ewes lambs in coastal Odisha. Materials Methods: A total 40 numbers lactating same parity comprised experimental animals. selected were randomly assigned two groups twenty each, maintaining uniformity body weight (13.36±0.33 kg for Group 1 13.48±0.37 2). maintained grazing only while 2 supplemented with a mixture @ 200 g/head/day first months lactation. fed individually separate containers morning hours before animals taken out grazing. Results: registered higher weights at every fortnight. differences found be highly significant (p<0.01) from nd 5 th fortnight (p<0.05) remaining fortnights. showed significantly daily gains than those hemoglobin (Hb) concentration, mean cell (MCH) leukocyte count (TLC) values between end 4 after lambing concentration (MCHC) is over 1. Conclusion: It concluded that (crude protein 18.21%) g/ewe/day along resulted ewe gain. improved their hematological also gain born these ewes.
