摘要: Abstract Centrifugal pumps consume huge amounts of energy in various industrial applications. Therefore for these pumps, the improvement machine efficiency has become a major challenge. Since hydraulic performance centrifugal pump strictly depends on its impeller shape, present work, an efficient and original approach been developed applied to design impellers order achieve higher efficiency. A global optimization method based Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm used along with validated 3D Navier–Stokes flow solver redesign geometry improve Berkeh 32-160 as case study. In next step, verify results, all domains within were simulated using CFD method. The complete numerical characteristic curves optimized compared (using available experimental data) initial pump. results show 3.59% at only 6.89 m increase total pressure difference new presents much more changes meridional channel blade profile. indicate reasonable optimal ABC algorithm.
