摘要: Women in contemporary American society internalize the negative attitudes toward women that have been part of sociocultural milieu which they were raised. These attitudes, transmitted during earliest phases a woman's development, within intimate framework her object relations, are then reinforced by prevailing culture. Feelings derive from these becomes reactivated woman psychotherapist's countertransference, leading to dynamic interplay with female patient. This study describes countertransference themes experienced therapists treating patients. Its conceptual is drawn psychoanalytic theory, and it one few studies based on in-depth explorations feelings conflicts themselves.
