An adaptive perception-based image preprocessing method

摘要: The aim of this paper is to introduce an adaptive preprocessing procedure based on human perception in order increase the performance some standard image processing techniques. Specifically, frequency content has been weighted by corresponding value contrast sensitivity function, agreement with sensitiveness eye different frequencies and contrasts. 2D Rational dilation wavelet transform employed for representing frequencies. In fact, it provides flexible multiresolution framework, enabling easy straightforward adaptation content. Preliminary experimental results show that proposed allows us enhancement algorithms terms visual quality often also PSNR.
