摘要: Ten days of total energy deprivation evoked the following endocrine changes in 12 healthy, normal-weight males: early and marked reductions increments blood levels T3 reverse T3, respectively, with rapid returns to pre-starvation after refeeding; a slight late decrease T4; minute reduction TSH; pronounced increase growth hormone, but return towards pre-exposure even before discontinuation starving; minor gradual enhancement cortisol, an nocturnal urinary adrenaline excretion. It is assumed that these reflect complex regulatory mechanism, purpose which secure adequate supply vital organs.
