摘要: Abstract A review is presented of experimental studies fluid mechanics magnetic conducted in Japan, especially at Tohoku University. The topics treated are pressure and local velocity measurement a strong field techniques for measuring the effect on optical rheological properties fluids that closely related to particle aggregation fluid. Experimentation difficult research because opaqueness need make measurements under an applied field. It necessary improve methods visualization behavior such restricted conditions. Experimental investigation various pipe flow problems also reviewed. First uniform nonuniform fields steady clarified. Then gas-liquid two-phase oscillatory characteristics investigated application stationary nonstationary flieds.
