摘要: Different lineages of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were identified by the application selected monoclonal antibodies to study sequential histopathological changes which occurred during two regimens chemical carcinogenesis in rat. One regimen, that Solt-Farber, caused prominent oval cell proliferation and large multiple neoplastic nodules, other continuous administration diethylnitrosamine, produced minimal a few small nodules. However, both produce HCC most exposed rats. Three liver cells, OV-6, H-4, T-6, on basis different tissue staining. OV-6 stains cytoskeleton bile duct but not hepatocytes. H-4 cytoplasm hepatocytes hepatomas. T-6 only. In Solt-Farber model, groups within persistent nodules had acquired epitope lost epitope. derived from this regimen same staining pattern, suggesting positive negative precursors HCC. The presence atypical structures, cells intermediate between hepatocytes, nodular all containing raises possibility any these types could serve as precursor arose nodule. diethylnitrosamine pattern was seen. first appeared periportal areas 5th week. These increased numbers later weeks with rare exceptions neither nor completely Most negative, direct lineage findings indicate phenotype chemically induced may vary carcinogenic used arise originate than typical cells.
