摘要: Mice were treated with potassium antimony tartrate, hycanthone, oxamniquine, niridazole, or praziquantel at different times after infection Schistosoma mansoni. The rate of cure was assessed by perfusion surviving worms approximately 4 weeks treatment, and the percentage reduction in worm burden estimated relative to number adult perfused from control mice, comparably infected but untreated. All six drugs relatively inactive against S. mansoni between 3 when compared treatment 5 6 weeks. However, differed patterns they achieved 2-week period administration cercariae around onset patency. Worms that had been subjected amoscanate hycanthone third week showed evidence this as adults having a reduced fecundity. Factors such host physiology, immune status may have roles outcome chemotherapy stages maturation
