摘要: Abstract This paper introduces a new way of using GIS to support decision making in the planning process and develop regional guidelines. The method `multicriteria optimization' helps methodological standards be established for integrating various results functional landscape ecology assessments type usually carried out ecological planning, enables overall comparison competing aims. technique allows different aims geographical region quantified takes into account weightings scenarios. Different (soil erosion hazards caused by water flow, groundwater regeneration, discharge regulation) an assessment agricultural production function were test site measuring 48 km2 glacial end moraine area north Leipzig (Saxony, Germany). presented form ordinal classes which express tendencies. On basis these results, calculation optimal land-use pattern defined weighted Multicriteria optimization calculates compromises with regard can measured compared goal values. Although cannot replace planner, is often difficult generally not quantitatively verified, it help make more objective.
