Fuzzy c-means clustering for power system coherency

摘要: This paper presents the application of fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering to recognition coherent generators in power systems. A coherency measure, which is derived from time-domain dynamic responses generators, first proposed for evaluating property generator coherency. From measure a relation matrix describing degree between any pair constructed. Fuzzy analysis applied on measure. The result various groups can thus be obtained, showing results different prescribed number groups. Application sample system are presented show validity and effectiveness method.
