摘要: The underlying presumptions and principal features of major semiclassical theories radiation are examined critically. There significant physical mathematical difficulties leading to the conclusion that, in their present state development, these incapable competing with QED either qualitatively or quantitatively. Some possible means salvaging approach suggested, motivation being seek a more physically satisfying picture than that provided by quantum field theory.
